The Room of Sublime Wallpaper
Looking
in, the viewer sees a room, wallpapered with newspaper, containing a
salon-style hanging of landscape paintings. Upon entering the room
the illusion is shattered as it becomes apparent that the "paintings"
are actually mirrors reflecting the landscapes painted on the wooden
panels that make up the walls of the room that are not visible from the
outside. Another room in the Museum of Failure.
